EA SPORTS FC Mobile is the phone and tablet version of EA's football franchise. It is the game previously published as FIFA Mobile: EA's licensing agreement with FIFA ended in 2023, and the series was rebranded to EA SPORTS FC across every platform while keeping its club, league and player licences.
The mobile game is built around squad-building rather than a career. You collect player items, assemble a team, and improve it through training, ranking up and chemistry between players who share a club or nation. Live content tracks the real football calendar, with events and promotional player releases tied to fixtures happening that week.
Matches can be played fully, with touch controls for passing, shooting and sprinting, or simulated if you would rather manage than play. Competitive modes include Head to Head against other players, Versus Attack, and a manager mode for longer-term squad progression.
The game is free to download and monetised through in-game currency and player packs. It requires a network connection for most modes, since squads and events are server-side.
